Work with me

The Food Girl in Town is a site deliciously devoted to culinary adventuring. I travel to eat and love telling everyone about it because I believe food is the world’s most common denominator — who doesn’t love something deep fried? I’m all about (mis)adventures in travel and experiencing cultures through food by showcasing local restaurants and accommodations around the world, let’s chat about working together!

I’m available for collaboration and advertising for both the travel and food industries. I’m excited by exploring new places, trying new foods and sharing these experiences with my readers — from weekend escapes to brand and restaurant reviews. I also write for a variety of travel sites and companies; If you’re a travel brand who needs an expert, let’s chat! New hotel? I can spend the weekend and Instagram every moment of my stay. I only work with destinations and brands truly reflecting the importance of culture and food. I write about things I have a passion for because I believe learning about the culinary past, present and future is important.

Since creating The Food Girl in Town in 2012, I’ve made researching my lifestyle. I have a BA in History, a Bachelor of Journalism, a MA in Art History — I can find any piece of information needing to be found and I enjoy it doing it. Whether it’s an article about the best boutique hotels in Toronto, a must-eat guide to Parma, Italy or the history of Eggs Benedict, I’m your girl!

My writing skills are on point, I’m a SEO savant and just take one look at my Instagram feed to understand my love of overhead food photography. My work has been featured on The Huffington Post, The Culture Trip, and my photography is soon to be featured on Food and Wine Magazine’s website.
